It’s recovery month! It happens in September of each year and its purpose is to increase awareness and understanding of mental health and substance use challenges and celebrating the stories of the people that recover. What better way to celebrate than by rewarding yourself with something special? Seems easy enough, but it’s actually difficult when you’ve gone years living with low self-esteem and think you’re not worth it.
